Island-style beer introduces ‘Acts of Aloha’ to encourage genuine moments of connection by giving away $100K in cash and prizes  

New York, NY – June 21, 2023 – Kona Big Wave, the refreshing island-style premium lager, is kicking off the summer by bringing to life the brand’s “Bring the Aloha” campaign and introducing “Acts of Aloha” – a summer-long sweepstakes that encourages and celebrates the moments that bring people together, spread positive vibes and embrace the spirit of Aloha.


In May, the brand debuted a brand-new look and feel under “Bring the Aloha,” Kona Big Wave’s recently launched campaign and brand world that aims to spark genuine connections and celebrate the spirit of Hawaii. The campaign features four new commercials, each one demonstrating how genuine, magical moments of harmony are created with each other and the natural world when you choose to “Bring the Aloha.” 

To bring fans of the brand along for the ride this summer, consumers are invited to celebrate the season by sharing the ways they will participate in “Acts of Aloha.” In return, Kona Big Wave will give away $100K in cash and prizes to make those moments happen, rewarding fans for the ways in which they already Bring the Aloha in their everyday life. 

Acts of Aloha are moments of unity – both epic and intimate. Whether it’s sharing a six-pack with new friends on a sandy beach or throwing an unforgettable neighborhood-wide gathering, Kona Big Wave is on a mission to empower fans to ‘Bring the Aloha’ and connect with others this summer.
