Guests Flock to Cartersville for New Brewery Tour Experience

A little wet weather didn't stop crowds from lining up to check out the new pop-up brewery tour at the Anheuser-Busch Cartersville brewery on March 19-22. More than 1,000 visitors participated in the inaugural tours, which kicked off a special month-long experience where guests can take a behind-the-scenes look at the seven stages of the time-honored Budweiser brewing process.

During the complimentary tours, brewery staff excitedly guided visitors through the brewhouse, before moving through the starting cellar, packaging and fermentation areas and finally wrapping up at the beechwood aging cellar and finishing tank.

At the conclusion of the tour, those aged 21 and older were able to sample Anheuser-Busch beers, including Etowah Imperial Lager, a limited-edition beer brewed exclusively for this new experience. Etowah Imperial Lager is an unfiltered, full-bodied, imperial lager brewed by Cartersville Brewmaster Travis Moore.

The Budweiser Clydesdales were also on hand to greet guests and participate in photo opportunities.

The brewery tours are available every Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until April, 12 (Closed on April 5 for Easter). To register for the tour visit etix.com or for more information visit facebook.com/HomeofBud or call 1(800) DIAL BUD.
