Grant's Farm Celebrates 60th Anniversary with New Attractions

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? What about a camel? This year, Grant's Farm turns 60 with a number of new attractions that will be added to the already impressive lineup of activities at the Farm. The celebrations kick off on Saturday, April 12 – Opening Day for the 2014 season.

New this year, guests can visit Mirror Lake for swan paddle boat rides and feed parakeets for a unique interactive experience. Traditional Grant's Farm fan favorites will still be available, including tram rides through Deer Park, baby goat feedings, animal shows in the Tier Garten and, for those 21 and older, complimentary samples of Anheuser-Busch beers. Also back by popular demand are camel rides and behind-the-scenes Budweiser Clydesdales tours, introduced last year.

The new attractions and enhancements to the Farm also include a new 300-person covered event space that can host large-scale special events, such as weddings and corporate events, throughout the season.

Grant's Farm will celebrate its 60th anniversary milestone with 60 days of unique surprises for visitors, all promoted through its Facebook page beginning May 5. Fans can also visit Facebook to submit their favorite photos from Grant's Farm over the years to be displayed on a photo wall in the Tier Garten, or on-screen at Busch Stadium at the first-ever Grant's Farm Night with the St. Louis Cardinals on May 14.

The city of St. Louis shares a significant birthday with Grant's Farm this year as well. Grant's Farm is recognizing the 250th birthday of Anheuser-Busch's hometown with a “Cakeway to the West” cake as part of stl250 events around the city. The four foot tall, two-tier ornamental birthday cake will be displayed throughout the 2014 season.
