Bud Light Celebrates Summertime Chicago and Lollapalooza with Limited Edition Chicago-Themed Bottles
Summertime is here and Bud Light is celebrating the season in style at the most highly anticipated music event of the summer — Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Beginning now and continuing throughout the duration of the festival, Bud Light is releasing limited edition aluminum bottles that celebrate everything that makes summer in the Windy City magical. The aluminums, which include several iconic Chicago images were designed by Chicago-area artist Brandon Breaux – best known for his album artwork for Chance the Rapper and shoe retailer Bucketfeet.
“I really wanted to showcase the idea of friendship in the design of the can this year, so you see friends enjoying the city, and really, bright, vibrant, colors to bring to life the energy of my hometown in the summer,” explains Breaux. “Summer is the most exciting time of the year, especially for a city like Chicago where our winters can be really long. “We are all counting down the days to summer so for Bud Light to tap me, a native Chicagoan, to create a limited aluminum bottle to encapsulate the city's vibrant summer, is truly a special moment for me.”
The aluminum bottles will be unveiled at a special, invite only kick-off party presented by Bud Light on Thursday, June 15 at Lacuna Lofts before hitting Chicago-area accounts shortly thereafter.
