Anheuser-Busch Mobilizes 1,000 Employee and Wholesaler Volunteers To Bring Hunger Relief To Dallas-Forth Worth
ST. LOUIS (January 26, 2016) – To kick-off the 2016 Anheuser-Busch Wholesaler Sales and Marketing Communications Meeting (SAMCOM), 1,000 employee and wholesaler volunteers from across the country rolled up their sleeves in Dallas to fight hunger one meal at a time – assembling more than 40,000 care packages benefitting the North Texas Food Bank.
“To be the best beer company – we strive in bringing the best employees and wholesale retail partners together to build a better and stronger community,” said Bill Bradley, vice president of community affairs for Anheuser-Busch. “The large volume of engagement between our company stakeholders in this food drive is a testament of our business philosophy and values.”

Since 1997, the Anheuser-Busch Foundation has provided more than $557 million to charitable organizations, including those that support education, the environment, economic development, disaster relief and military personnel. In 2015, Anheuser-Busch donated more than one millions meals across the country to help fight hunger through various food banks.
