Anheuser-Busch Merrimack Brewery Hosts Show N' Shine Car Show

MERRIMACK, N.H. (July 19, 2007) - Whether rain or shine, car enthusiasts will display hundreds of classic, dragster and muscle cars in the 34th Show N' Shine Car Show on Sunday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Anheuser-Busch brewery in Merrimack.

In 2006, more than 10,000 people visited the show and 649 cars were exhibited. The event is presented by the New Hampshire Street Rod Association and will benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation in New Hampshire.

"At last year's show, Make-A-Wish collected $15,218 in donations," said Pete Cotnoir, coordinator for the Merrimack car show. "It was enough money to fully fund the wishes of four very special children."

While visiting the show, car enthusiasts also may take a free tour of the Anheuser-Busch Merrimack brewery and learn how the leading American brewer makes its beers. Daily tours are conducted 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. After the tour, guests who are 21 years of age or older may sample Anheuser-Busch premium beers and visit the Clydesdale Hamlet - the Northeastern home of the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Gift Shop hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Clydesdale Camera Day is held between 1 and 3 p.m., the first Saturday of each month. Guests can watch bring their cameras to take pictures with a world-famous Budweiser Clydesdale.

Remaining Budweiser Clydesdale Camera Days for 2007 are: Aug. 4, Sept. 1, Oct. 6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 1.
