Duo Unveils $10K Garage Improvement Sweeps In Celebration of National DIY Day


St. Louis, MO – April 2, 2025 – On April 1, the rumors started swirling following a cryptic social post sharing that 2025 is the year Natural Light finally goes craft. But before fans start searching for a new Natty craft brew, Natural Light needs to clear something up: The American-style light lager isn’t changing. Instead, Natty is announcing a new partnership with an icon in the “craft” space - 90’s sitcom star Richard Karn.

Known for his home renovation expertise, Natural Light is tapping Karn to serve as the brand’s Craft Ambassador. The partnership kicks off on April 2 in celebration of National DIY Day with a social media video series featuring Karn’s helpful tips for novice craftsmen. Then on April 3, the pair will debut the Garage Improvement sweepstakes, giving Natty fans a chance to win $10,000 to turn their garage into a dream workshop. 

“There’s only one thing better than cracking open the toolbox and taking on a new DIY project, and that’s cracking open a cold beer after it’s finished,” says Richard Karn. “The garage is my sanctuary and one of my favorite places to get creative and tackle new projects, and alongside Natural Light, I’m honored to help a fellow DIY pro level up their workspace.” 

As Natty makes a renewed commitment to craft, this partnership with Richard Karn is just the beginning. Whether it’s upgrading the garage, tackling weekend projects, or simply enjoying a well-earned beer after the job is done, Natty is here to support its fans in their DIY endeavors every step of the way.

Fans can enter the $10k Garage Improvement sweepstakes by commenting on the entry post on Natural Light’s Facebook, Instagram or X pages with #GarageImprovement and #Sweepstakes. One entry is allowed per person and the winner will be chosen on April 11th.
