LEADING AMERICAN MANUFACTURER BUILDS ON LONGSTANDING COMMITMENT TO SERVING THOSE WHO SERVE WITH FOUNDING SPONSORSHIP AND $1 MILLION DONATION TO NATIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR MUSEUM

Arlington, Texas – March 3, 2025 – Anheuser-Busch (NYSE: BUD), a leading American manufacturer and maker of iconic brands like Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser, Bud Light, and Stella Artois, today announced it will bring the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales to Texas for one of their greatest missions to date. The Budweiser Clydesdales will proudly escort Recipients of the Medal of Honor, our nation’s highest award for valor in combat, to the opening ceremony of the new, state-of-the-art National Medal of Honor Museum built to preserve their legacies and tell their stories of American bravery.

Ahead of the opening ceremony on March 22, the Budweiser Clydesdales will also deliver commemorative Budweiser cans to be served at the ceremony, where Medal of Honor Recipients, their families, national and local leaders, and military officials will be in attendance. As a founding sponsor of the museum, Anheuser-Busch’s $1 million donation and support for the grand opening are the latest examples of the brewer’s commitment to honoring the brave American men and women who have served to protect our freedoms.

Brendan Whitworth, CEO of Anheuser-Busch, stated, “Serving those who serve is part of who we are and who we always have been at Anheuser-Busch. We have been deeply committed to our nation’s military and veterans for more than 150 years, and we are honored to be able to support the National Medal of Honor Museum and recipients of the award. Medal of Honor Recipients are true American heroes who have earned our nation’s highest honor through great sacrifice and incredible bravery, and it is critical that we continue to preserve their legacies for future generations.”

Through partnerships with organizations such as the National Medal of Honor Museum, Folds of Honor, Honor Flight Network, and many others, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners continue to champion the needs of veterans, military families and first responders who have sacrificed for our country and communities, including the more than ten percent of Anheuser-Busch employees who are active service members and veterans.

Chris Cassidy, President & CEO of the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation, recognized the brewer’s contributions to the museum, stating, “With their iconic Clydesdales and new commemorative cans, we’re incredibly proud to have Anheuser-Busch support the Grand Opening of the National Medal of Honor Museum and help us pay tribute to America’s Medal of Honor recipients. Anheuser-Busch has a long history of supporting those who serve and strengthening communities across the country – we are so grateful that they have included the National Medal of Honor Museum in that mission. We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with them.”

Britt Slabinski, Medal of Honor Recipient, Retired Command Master Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) and a member of the NMOHMF Advisory Board, said: “I have seen first-hand the commitment of Anheuser-Busch and their employees to our mission of inspiring America through the values of the Medal of Honor. Their contributions to the National Medal of Honor Museum’s Grand Opening will help make this a truly memorable celebration.”

The National Medal of Honor Museum will officially open to the public on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. For additional information on the Museum, please visit https://mohmuseum.org/.
