Landfill Gas to Help Fuel Houston Brewery
July 30, 2008, representatives of Anheuser-Busch, Ameresco Energy, Allied Waste Services and the City of Houston held a joint press conference to announce an agreement making use of landfill gas as an alternative fuel source for Anheuser-Busch's Houston brewery.
When combined with the facility's current bio-energy recovery system, it is anticipated the Houston brewery will run on more than 70 percent alternative fuel following completion of the project. Read more here.
