Grant’s Farm Hosts Back-To-School Student Supplies Drive

Includes School Supplies Collection; Free Parking and Free Meal for Kids

ST. LOUIS (Aug. 13, 2009) – As St. Louis area youngsters are heading back to school, Grant’s Farm is hosting a school supplies collection drive to benefit Matthews-Dickey Boys & Girls Club, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 22 and 23. 

From 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. both days, volunteers will be collecting backpacks, notebooks, pens/pencils and other supplies needed by students K-8th grade.  On Aug. 22 and 23, Grant’s Farm will waive the $11 per car parking fee and offer a free hotdog and soda for children under 10 years old. Grant’s Farm is sponsoring this event to help area students prepare for a successful school year as it transitions to its weekends only – Friday, Saturday and Sunday – fall schedule.
